Facebook Creates a new "Snapchat"

After Snapchat refused Facebook's $3 billion dollar offer to buy their company, Facebook has now decided to create their own Snapchat like app called Slingshot. Mr. Zuckerburg is personally overseeing the development of this app. Mark is trying very desperately it seems, to compete with Snapchat which its users send over 700 million different pieces of media a day. Some may say the Mark Zuckerburg is taking it very personally after Snap chat refused is offer. So far Snapchat has been competing with a few other companies by adding text messaging and video chatting.

Parrot's New Bebop Drone

On Monday, Parrot unveiled their newest smart phone controlled drone called Bebop. Bebop is a drone built for shooting crystal clear video and pictures with a 14 megapixel full HD fish eye lens. Bebop is a drone that is controlled by wifi signals. Bebop can either be controlled by your smartphone, or you can purchase a controller which then increases the signal so the range is the increased to 1.25 miles. The awesome part about the controller is that you can attach a vr (virtual reality) headset such as the Oculus Rift to it and rotate the camera on the drone by moving your head around. There is a 8GB SD card in the drone. The only downfall is that Bebop only has a battery that lasts 12 minutes of flying and filming.
